About Me

I'm licensed and live in the country of Georgia.

For VHF/UHF I use a Quansheng UV-K6 with NUNU 272973a firmware, you'll usually find me on the Tbilisi repeater.

For HF I have a uSDR uSDX+ v2 Transceiver and a DIY dipole antenna, with a QRP Guys end-fed half-wave currently in the works. Currently working on regional contacts, DX is a future goal.

I got my license in 2025, but I've been interested in radio since 2018.

Around online communities, I went by the username HAMSTEG (a combination of ham radio and steganography) until 2020.

My first radio device was a Baofeng UV-5RE, which I used to listen to PMR frequencies for around 5 years, until I got my license and started transmitting on 2m and 70cm, as well as HF.

Outside of my ham radio hobby, I work as a product designer.
